Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RedirX at redirx.dev (the "Service"), operated by Dylon Shattuck, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and RedirX.

2. Description of Service

RedirX is a SaaS tool that automates 301 redirect generation during website migrations. The Service allows you to upload old and new URL lists and generates redirect mappings using two methods:

• Quick Match — Matches URLs based on path similarity and URL patterns.
• Deep Match — Uses AI-powered semantic analysis to match pages by scraping and comparing actual page content.

The Service is currently in public beta. Features, functionality, and availability may change without prior notice.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service. Accounts are non-transferable.

4. Subscription Plans & Pricing

RedirX offers the following subscription tiers:

• Free — Limited functionality for evaluation purposes.
• Starter — For small migration projects.
• Growth — For larger migrations with expanded limits.
• Scale — For enterprise-level migration needs.

A one-time Founder Plan may also be available for early adopters. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

5. Payment Terms

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly or yearly basis. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method. Partial refunds are not provided for unused portions of a billing period. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and access will continue until the end of your current billing period.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Engage in any illegal activity or violate any applicable laws
• Upload or process malicious, harmful, or deceptive content
• Scrape websites you are not authorized to access
• Create multiple accounts to abuse free tier limits or circumvent restrictions
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or other service restrictions
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

7. User Content & Data

You retain ownership of all data you upload to the Service, including URL lists and any associated content. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

When using Deep Match, you represent that you have authorization to scrape the websites whose URLs you provide. You are solely responsible for reviewing all generated redirect mappings before deploying them to your website.

8. Intellectual Property

The RedirX name, logo, branding, and software are the proprietary property of RedirX and its operator. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without prior written consent.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. The Service is currently in public beta and may contain bugs or inaccuracies. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any redirect matches. Confidence scores provided by the Service are estimates and should not be relied upon as definitive measures of match quality. You are responsible for reviewing and validating all outputs before use.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REDIRX AND ITS OPERATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF SEO RANKINGS, ORGANIC TRAFFIC, REVENUE, OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

RedirX is not liable for any SEO loss, broken redirects, or incorrect matches resulting from the use of generated redirect mappings. Our total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to RedirX in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RedirX and its operator from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your deployment of redirect mappings generated by the Service.

12. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. As the Service is in public beta, features and functionality may change significantly. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes.

13. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to other users or the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the State of Georgia.

15. Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and RedirX regarding your use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
